PRIMAVERA helps entrepreneurs from Tete province manage their businesses

 

PRIMAVERA BSS, a technology company specialising in the development of management software solutions for businesses is to organise a training session in the province of Tete. Aimed at managers of SMEs, the session will focus on good management practices with aim of providing those in attendance with new skills and knowledge that will help them run their businesses to the best possible effect. The session is being offered free of charge and will cover all the areas involved in the management of a business, from a general view – the role of companies in society, response to legal and tax obligations, and management models and good practices – to more specific processes. Included in the latter are topics such as the sales cycle, customer and supplier management, income and expenditure management, accounting entries and management reports.

 

The initiative is part of the project "100 Best SMEs", run by the Instituto para a Promoção das Pequenas e Médias Empresas (Institute for the Promotion of SMEs – IPEME), with support from PRIMAVERA. The theme for the 2015 edition of the event is Education for Business Management. 

 

José Simões, Country Manager for PRIMAVERA Mozambique emphasises the importance of this event from the point of view of decentralising and facilitating access to knowledge. He stresses, "Success in business depends very much on the knowledge, skills and tools available to managers. This is why we want to provide entrepreneurs and managers of SMEs with the knowledge that will allow them to make their businesses more competitive."

 

The training session will take place from 8.30 am to 11 am on the 9th of September at the Hotel Vip Executive in Tete. Admission is free. The session will include a presentation of the PRIMAVERA Express management software solution, an invoicing system that PRIMAVERA offers free of charge to small companies. Participants will also have the opportunity to see the functionalities of the PRIMAVERA Express solution in detail and learn how it can streamline the day-to-day management of their businesses.
